After Midnight is a visual ode to Marija Jurić Zagorka, Croatia’s first female journalist and a pioneering feminist. Blending personal narrative with historical reflection, the project explores love, religion, gender, and the complexities of cultural identity. It tells a story of resistance, displacement, and the quiet strength of women who challenge expectations - at home and abroad.
