CARTOMANIA: 19TH CENTURY PHOTO PORTRAITS FROM DROGHEDA by Orla Fitzpatrick
Cartomania is the first publication in Paraphrase, a new imprint from thirty three-45.
This small catalogue delves into Drogheda’s once-thriving photography shops, viewed through Dr. Orla Fitzpatrick’s captivating postcard 'cate-de-visite' collection. It offers a window into Drogheda’s past, revealing how photography helped shape social identities while serving as a historical archive and reflection of the town’s vibrant social life in the early 1900s.
Cartomania was made to coincide with an exhibition at The Kiosk Project Art Space, Narrow West Street Drogheda on November 2025.
