Patrick Kavanagh Getting Married is a playful visual study of an archival photograph, capturing Patrick and Katherine Kavanagh's wedding party. The party took place at the home of Eoin and Joan Ryan in 1967, among their guests.

Expressed as a series of reproduced close-ups, Patrick Kavanagh is interpreted as a newlywed caught between a moment of fun, panic and dishevelment.

This A6 fold-out zine has a limited print run of 30 copies, available exclusively at the Patrick Kavanagh Weekend Book Fair, taking place on Sunday 27th September 12-4pm at The Round Tower Church, Iniskeen.
